Dermal Fillers

What is Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers are the pinnacle of non-surgical injectable treatments. HA dermal fillers are renowned for their versatile capacity to address both shallow and deep wrinkles, enhance facial contours, and rejuvenate the entire face. Often referred to as the "clay of the Gods," hyaluronic acid has emerged as one of the most popular materials in the realm of medical aesthetics. Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, naturally occurs in the deep layers of our skin, playing a crucial role in maintaining skin hydration. In medical aesthetics, it is cross-linked into various-sized molecules, serving as a filler that is injected into the dermal layer, delivering instant and transformative cosmetic results.

How do Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers Work?

Hyaluronic acid boasts exceptional water-absorbing and moisturizing abilities. It naturally exists in our skin, helping to lock in moisture and maintain the suppleness of skin. However, as the skin ages and experiences photodamage, the hyaluronic acid within the skin, much like collagen, gradually diminishes. This loss results in dryness, dehydration, and the development of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging.

Initially, hyaluronic acid was clinically used to treat cataracts and arthritis, proving its safety. Eventually, it found widespread application in aesthetic medicine to improve wrinkles and facial features. Similar to constructing a house with the right amount of concrete, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are injected into specific skin layers, providing structural support to sagging or wrinkled skin. This restores moisture and plumpness, and replenishes the lost hyaluronic acid in the skin while smoothing out wrinkles and contours the facial features.

Our 3D Non-Surgical Facelift treatment at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic consists of two anti-aging steps: firming and sculpting. These steps work together to help you restore fullness and firmness to your facial features.

Advantages of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic

High Safety: Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are an extremely safe and natural non-surgical cosmetic injection. The procedure is minimally invasive and reduces associated risks.

Reversible: Hyaluronic acid gets gradually metabolized by the body, resulting in temporary cosmetic effects. After metabolism, the treated area returns to its natural state. If the results are unsatisfactory, hyaluronidase, an enzyme, can be injected to dissolve the hyaluronic acid, eliminating the effects.

Comfortable and Quick: The hyaluronic acid injection typically takes only 20 to 30 minutes, making it a convenient lunchtime cosmetic treatment. Topical anaesthetics are applied to the injection site, ensuring minimal discomfort during the procedure.

Natural and Immediate Results: Whether it's smoothing wrinkles or sculpting facial features, the effects of hyaluronic acid injections are instantly noticeable and exceptionally natural, preserving natural facial expressions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • How many sessions are required to see noticeable results?
The 3D Non-Surgical Facelift at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic is a single-session treatment, and you will immediately observe a significant, voluminous, and firming effect.
  • Can the implanted Soft Threads and hyaluronic acid be fully absorbed by the body?
Soft Threads are eventually metabolized by the body into water and carbon dioxide and then absorbed. Hyaluronic acid naturally exists in the skin and participates in normal skin metabolism, thus being absorbed and broken down.
  • What age is suitable for the 3D Non-Surgical Facelift treatment at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic?
Age is not the key factor. As long as you notice signs of skin sagging, a vague facial contour, and a loss of subcutaneous soft tissue, you can consider this treatment.
  • After the Soft Threads and hyaluronic acid are absorbed and metabolized, will the face quickly become more saggy and droopy?
The skin will not suddenly sag because even after Soft Threads are absorbed, the skin's collagen and elastin will continue to increase, maintaining the firmness and elasticity of the skin. After hyaluronic acid is metabolized, the injection site will return to its original state, and there will be no more wrinkles or depressions.
  • What are the risks and side effects?
Any injection has some risks. While hyaluronic acid injections are widely used in medical aesthetics and are very safe, if not administered properly, they may result in rare risks such as facial clots, blindness, and localized skin necrosis. These risks are rare, and proper technique and adherence to best practices significantly reduce them. Soft Thread Lift is a minimally invasive non-surgical treatment and may lead to minor swelling and bruising. If post-treatment care is not followed correctly, it may result in infection and inflammation around the incision site. Moreover, there is a very low incidence of thread breakage after implantation, and this is exceedingly rare.
  • In what situations is thread lifting not suitable?
Thread lifting is not suitable for individuals in the following situations: Pregnant or breastfeeding. Skin inflammation or infection. Those taking anticoagulant medications such as aspirin. Individuals with facial implants or any permanent fillers. Those prone to hypertrophic scarring or keloids. Q: How long does the entire treatment take? A: A single session of the 3D Non-Surgical Facelift at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, with the required time varying depending on the areas being treated.

Home Care Advice After the Procedure at Oceanaconte Spa & Clinic

Avoid Touching the Injection Site for At Least 6 Hours

After the procedure, refrain from touching the injection area or getting it wet. You may resume your regular skincare routine later.

Expect Mild Redness and Possible Bruising

Due to variations in individual skin sensitivity, mild redness and occasional bruising may occur post-injection. Redness usually subsides within 1-2 days, while bruising may take longer to resolve. If you experience any discomfort, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Refrain from Smoking and Alcohol for 2-3 Days After Injection

Smoking and alcohol consumption can exacerbate post-injection swelling. It is advisable to avoid these during the initial recovery period.

Avoid Extreme Temperature Activities for 1-2 Weeks Post-Injection

Activities such as saunas, hot springs, or exposure to very low temperatures should be avoided in the first 1-2 weeks following the procedure. Such extreme temperature conditions are not conducive to the healing process at the injection site.

Avoid Aspirin and Similar Medications Post-Procedure

Medications like aspirin can impair blood clotting and may hinder the recovery process at the injection site. It is best to abstain from these medications for a suitable duration.
